That's what I keep telling people. we can get enough protein from our diet itself. It's been more than 3 months that I've switched to plant based diet. It's unbelievable but surprisingly my calcium and B12 levels have improved after following a plant based diet. my lipid profile looks good. I get most of my proteins from nuts, seeds, legumes, and quinoa( which has excellent amino acid profile). soomeone who is intersted can check out this article where i have shown my test reports.
