We encounter hundreds of writing tips on a daily basis even here on Medium you’ll find numerous articles about how to write, what to write, and almost anything and everything you want to know about writing.

I’m not here to give you writing tips. But something more than that: a key to achieving anything that you want.

So, from being a quiet reader to publishing my first article on Medium, It has been one heck of a journey. I was one of those onlookers a few months back. just as confused as you’re, just as clueless as you’re.

One thing that had the most impact on me and my writing journey was to Just get started and take the first step. No matter how small it is. Even the tiniest step towards your goal matters.

And as you progress in your journey you’ll figure out what works for you and what isn’t. Stop overthinking, and overanalyzing things. we all start from scratch.

Nobody, literally nobody here on medium or on any other platform had hundreds of followers or subscribers when they first started. we all start from a 0. we build it by getting started and showing up every day and that’s the beauty of the process.

You learn so much along the way. and let compounding do its magic. slowly, with time you start seeing the results.

If you want to achieve something in life anything from building a business to writing, acing an exam, or anything for that matter. Leave all negative thoughts at the back and take your first step. Try it for yourself. your only limitation is you and only you. Repeat that twice

Look, I’m not saying you will be outstanding, or marvelous the first day you put yourself out there. You’ll make countless mistakes, and you should because it’s your journey of becoming who you want to be, and where you want to reach. learn from your mistakes and remember nothing is achieved overnight.

Take the first step, put in the reps, and Do countless hits and trials, to see what works and what doesn’t. learn and evolve with time, and win the game💪

Ending with a few quotes for you to ponder-

✦Time goes away, and leaves us with one of these two things: Regret and Result.

✦A year from now you wish you had started today.

✦ You’re what you do. Not what you say you’ll do — Ankur Warikoo
